What's A Gnomon?

A gnomon is that pointy thing on a sundial that tells you the time with its shadow. Gnomon the online weblog-slash-magazine serves the same purpose, only metaphorically. We're an eclectic online societal observer and commentator that's here to figure out what time it is, culturally speaking.

We point stuff out.

We're kind of like Paul Harvey with an attitude.

We're not liberal; we're not conservative. We're Progressive Libertarian Praxicists: Gnomon gravitates towards what works, moves us forward, and keeps us free.

We look at things as they are and ask, "Why?" Then we look at things that never were and ask, "Why not?"
